Before we found Akuna Mickey and Reddy stayed at another kennel. We chose the luxury option which was a room with a proper bed and sheets and a door with a dog flap the girl who showed us around explained the dog flap was left open all the time so the dogs could get out in the garden (which was fenced in) we chose this option because the dogs are outside dogs and would enjoy the grass. However the girl was wrong and the flap was locked at night with the dogs locked in. Unaccustomed to being locked in at night they promptly chewed the bed to bits and when we picked up Mickey and Reddy the kennel tried to charge us extra but relented when we told them the girl had made a mistake.
