| Why you first choose Akuna Care? |

We started going to Abermain Kennels when it was run by the previous owner. He used to be a guest on the local ABC 1233 Newcastle, and we liked the way he cared for dogs so we choose his kennel facility to take Oscar to. When it was taken over by Akuna Care, we discovered that Ariel and Marcus were just as passionate about quality dog care as the previous owner had been, so we felt comfortable in continuing to take Oscar there. We have continued to have Oscar there at least once a year for the past eight years. We have never regretted the decision as Oscar always has come back home happy, well and his usual active self.

We like the fact that the staff are friendly and that Oscar is well treated. He always comes back home fit and healthy.

When I was a child growing up in Melbourne, my younger brother, Michael aged 2-3 years old got out of the house with the dog, "Toby". The Police were called by a passer by and they took Michael and the dog to the Police Station to try and find his parents. The Police had to take the dog as he growled and got upset when the Police tried to separate the two. Toby was protective of Michael and stayed with him all the time he was away from the house. Toby was a much loved family pet.
