Fudge
We collected her on Saturday from the R.S.P.C.A. Gizmo had to stay behind till Monday. At 8 weeks, she was quiet and cuddly. Little did we know then that she would grow up to defend her realm which now encompasses most of the North Shore. We had been home a few hours when we followed her to the bedroom. She kept returning to the mirrored cupboard doors, looking longingly at the playmate she could see and paw. Strangely, even after we brought home (wild) Gizmo, she still pawed the cupboard, almost as it to say, I wanted one like me.
Gizmo
We collected him from the R.S.P.C.A on a Monday evening. We had chosen him the previous Saturday but he still needed to be neutered. When collecting him the R.S.P.C.A vet warned that he might still be a bit sleepy from the operation. We got into the car and he was wild jumping around attacking (playfully) Fudge, his new sister, squirreling everywhere he could get to. If this was subdued and sleepy, Lord help us when the drugs wore off!
They are now inseparable, best of friends!!
