| Favourite Coober Story. |
It was my husband who wanted a dog, not me. I said okay, but he would not be allowed inside to make a mess and smell out our home. Of course, as soon as I met beautiful Labrador puppy Coober, I was smitten and all of that went out the window.
When Coober was one year old he was involved in a bad accident. While he was recuperating at home two broken back legs surrounded by metal braces with pins in all directions through his legs, I returned home from work one day to find he had somehow gotten onto his favourite lounge chair and was fast asleep on his back with his broken legs covered in metal sticking straight up into the air.
He is now nine years old as in the best of health.
